Painters Solicitors are pleased and honoured to announce that our continuing support for the Cancer Research UK Free Will Service has resulted in our clients pledging an incredible sum of £736,800 for this charity!

Local law firm Painters with offices in Kidderminster and Stourport-on-Severn for nearly 70 years, offers a wide range of legal advice with regard to powers of attorney, trusts and wills, including legacies and gifts to charity.

The well-respected Wills and Probate team offer guidance to clients old and new wanting to make a will or update an existing one where family circumstances have changed.

Painters are proud to continue to be a member of Cancer Research UK Free Will Service.

How it works:

·         The Free Will Service is available to anyone aged 55yrs or over.

·         For couples or partners making individual wills, only one needs to be over 55yrs.

·         Cancer Research UK covers the legal cost of a simple will.

·         There is no definite requirement for participants to include a legacy or gift to the charity but most feel it is important to do so.

Rebecca Randle, an experienced solicitor in our team of trusted advisors, specialises in will preparation and says, “We are always pleased to continue our support for this worthwhile scheme, being aware that the charity receives no direct government funding for research and therefore relies heavily on the kindness of thoughtful will-makers leaving a gift or proportion of their estate, however small, to charity. Cancer Research UK Remains the only independent funder researching all 200 cancer types and we and our clients feel it is so important to help and encourage in this way.”
